Very nice original medal for the Defense of Stalingrad with document. The medal comes with its original double layer steel suspension. The medal is of the first type and remains in a good condition! Nice medal for the Defense of Stalingrad with no repairs, no damage. The document is numbered 21981 and awarded in the field on the 19th of October 1943. The medal and document have been awarded to Corporal Vasily Yakovleniyu Kirpichenko. They were awarded to him by Lieutenant Colonel Alshivi Schenko the Commander of the 548th Rifle Regiment. Nice original document. Great one of a kind set which deserves some more research!
