An original WW2 named cased Bronze Star medal with Citation. The medal comes in its original case of issue together with its ribbon bar. The medal comes with a slot brooch mechanism and its original ribbon, indicating production during WW2. The Bronze Star is government engraved with "Russell Kramer". Kramer was a sergeant with the 561st Field Artillery Battalion. The set comes with the original citation for Kramers Bronze Star and notes that he received his Bronze Star for his devotion to duty and Leadership (see the picture of the citation) on 3rd of September 1944 in France. Great interesting set in great condition! No repairs, no damage.
