WW1 original named Silver Star Medal. The medal comes with its period original slot brooch meganism and ribbon. The medal is of period production and remains in an excellent condition. The medal is government engraved and named to Charles L. Auger Jr. whom was a soldier in the 319th Infantry Regiment of the 80th Infantry Division. According to the research we have on this Silver Star Auger most likely received his Silver Star for actions during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. But more research can definitely be done on this. Exceptional historically important medal in excellent condition with lots of further research potential! No repairs, no damage.
