Very nice and interesting WW2 KIA Purple Heart document. The document is named to Technician Fifth Grade Philip L. Gadoury (service number: 42049180), member of the 3rd Infantry Division. Gadoury was KIA on the 3rd of February 1945 during the fighting/clearing of the Colmar Pocket in France. Gadoury is buried back home in the United States. The Purple Heart award certificate was awarded on the 17th of March 1945. The award certificate remains in a very good condition as can be seen on the photos. No repairs, no damage.
Very nice and interesting KIA Purple Heart document which deserves some further research!
