WW2 KIA Purple Heart Document, 88th Infantry Division, Italy 1944

Very nice and interesting WW2 KIA Purple Heart document. The document is named to Technical Sergeant Thomas B. Cornell (service number: 31142199), member of the 351st Infantry Regiment of the 88th Infantry Division. Cornell was KIA on the 14th of March 1944 during fighting in Italy. Cornell is buried at Plot B, Row 6, Grave 26, Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Italy. The Purple Heart award certificate was awarded on the 10th of August 1945. The award certificate remains in a very good condition as can be seen on the photos. No repairs, no damage.
