WW2 original Named Navy Good Conduct Medal. The medal remains in great condition. The medal has a period original Wrap Brooch mechanism and is government engraved "Marion Wallace Evans 1941". Evans served on the USS Benson from July 1942 til January 1943 and USS Beale from January 1943 til April 1945. Evans took part in the Battle of Leyte Gulf and a large number of other operations. Excellent interesting and historic medal with great research potential! No repairs, no damage.
