An original complete WW2 cased numbered Silver Star medal. The medal comes in its original case of issue together with its ribbon bar, lapel pin and quartermaster card. The medal is numbered on the side with "111883" and comes with a slot brooch mechanism, indicating production during WW2. Excellent set in near mint condition which would make an interesting research project! No repairs, no damage.
