WW2 original Named Navy Good Conduct Medal. The medal remains in great condition. The medal has a period original Slot Brooch mechanism and is government engraved "Robert Joseph Dunn 1945". The Medal comes together with an official citation document showing Dunns service and him being entitled to wear several different service medals. Dunn served on the USS Pinto and was at least present at the Normandy (D-Day), Southern France and Labuan British Northwest Bornea invasions. Excellent interesting and historic medal with great research potential! No repairs, no damage.
